Project:
The embassy needed all soft sealant joints on the building replaced, as well as concrete repairs and coating, a new area of stamped concrete, and a complete roof replacement with repairs to the existing gutter system. KGS was up to the task.
Solution:
Using swing stages and boom lifts, KGS replaced all the soft sealant joints on the building. We repaired the concrete on the coping caps and added the new stamped concrete portion to the plaza. The expert KGS roofing team replaced the entire roof with a two ply modified bitumen system and repaired the problems with the gutter system with new stainless steel copings.
Result:
The building is protected from future damage that may have been caused by waiting longer to address these repairs. The stamped concrete plaza provides a new outdoor space for the embassy to use. The roof and gutter system are now far more capable of handling water, which will add to the longevity of the structure.
